Rough Forged Steel Trade Knife with Elk Antler Handle
This listing is for the hand crafted knife shown. Made with a top quality blank of super tough 9cr14MoV high carbon stainless steel and tempered to the mid 50’s for edge retention. This heirloom quality "Trade" Knife, styled after the knives of the post Colonial period, has a hammered, rough forged finish, straight lines, full tang with a false upper edge and thumb notches on the upper spine. It features a handmade, figured an elk antler with brass handle pins created by me. It will arrive sharpened and honed.
This knife is 9 inches approximate overall length with a blade that is approximately 4-1/2 inches. You will also receive the leather sheath included in the photo. Be sure to use the Zoom feature, to see the details!
