Quilted Maple and Padauk Key of G Native American Style Flute
Native style, six hole flute in the key of G minor. Hand crafted from a solid blank of
quilted maple, with padauk end caps and walnut bands.
The flute is line bored from a solid blank of well seasoned and beautifully figured quilted maple. Is is capped at both ends with padauk with rings of walnut for detail. It is finished with many coats of a hand rubbed, natural oil and wax finish. The stylized block of walnut, maple, and padauk sits atop an inlaid padauk nest. It also features my signature hand burned morning star with inlaid abalone Center. The block is secured with a lace of brown elk hide.
This solid but lightweight flute has a lovely and a voice that is full, strong, and clear. It is a responsive player with great action and projects well . The overall length is 23" with a 7/8" bore. The flute comes provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for storage and protection.
