East Indian Rosewood Key of A Native American Style Flute
Native Style flute hand crafted and line bored from a solid piece of exotic East Indian rosewood, with purpleheart, cypress, yellow heart, and tulipwood accents. Rosewood is a hard exotic wood, with an open grain and lovely, rich brown/black color.
This beautiful flute has a mouthpiece of tulipwood, with contrasting bands of purpleheart and yellowheart The classic style bird/block is fashioned from purpleheart with a cypress center, on an inlaid nest of purpleheart. It is secured with a supple tan lace of deer hide. It features my hand-burned "morning star" below the nest, with an inlaid abalone cabochon.
This flute is loud and clear with a vibrant tone, great action, projects well, and is a wonderful performer. It has an overall length of 18" with a 3/4" bore and features a very comfortable hand turned, nipple style mouthpiece.
All of my flutes are currently provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for protection.
