Cypress and Lignum Vitae Key of F Native American Style Flute
Native style, six hole flute in the key of F minor. Hand crafted from a solid blank of
recovered "sinker" cypress. The beautifully figured grain is a result of absorbing minerals from years of being submerged in a swamp. The flute is line bored from a solid blank of cypress .It is capped at both ends with lignum vitae, with a contrasting ring of Peruvian walnut. It is finished with many coats of a hand rubbed, natural oil and wax finish. The stylized block of Peruvian walnut with lignum vitae core sits atop a nest of lignum vitae. It also features my signature hand burned morning star with inlaid abalone Center. The block is secured with a lace of dark brown deer hide.
This solid but lightweight flute has a lovely and a voice that is warm and pleasing, with a clear, strong and bright tone. From the first time you play the fundamental note, this flute will capture you and lead you on a journey. It is a responsive player with great action and projects well . The overall length is 24" with a 7/8" bore. The flute comes provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for storage and protection.

Each is line bored from a solid blank, not split, and finished with natural oils My workmanship and your satisfaction are guaranteed.
