Hand crafted from a select blank of beautiful nicely figured eastern red cedar and trimmed with exotic Purpleheart mouth and end caps with maple detail rings. Features a hand rubbed finish from multiple coats of natural, food-safe, plant based waxes and oils. All "CedarHeart" flutes feature a hand burned morning star with inlaid Abalone Center. The bird/block is crafted from a laminate of purpleheart and cedar on an inlaid purpleheart nest, and secured with a lace of deer hide leather. These flutes are perfectly tuned, and durable for backpacking and traveling, and as a high quality beginner/student flute!

Cedarheart flutes are so perfect for everything from stage performances, recording, and are sturdy enough for traveling and backpacking! The voicing of the CedarHeart flute is silky smooth, sweet, slightly mellow and perfectly in tune. The overall length is 20" with a 3/4" bore.
