Root End Bamboo, Native American Style Flute, Key of D#m, Tree Of Life Designs

Native Style flute made from a heavy walled, root end golden bamboo in the key of D#m. Features an inlaid nest and mouthpiece from lovely purple-red padauk wood, with a classic style block of padauk with a cypress core, complimented with contrasting black and brown deer hide laces. The flute features a genuine mother-of-pearl cabochon in my signature hand burned "morning star" and sports three waxed "sinew" wraps. It is finished with many coats of a hand rubbed, natural oil and wax finish.

This is one sweet player that responds nicely to trills, pops and articulation. Solid and resonant voice with a strong volume. With its natural color variations with an ombre patterning at the foot end, this is one stunning looking and sounding flute, perfect for a performer looking for a great stage presence. Unique look of a traditional Japanese shakuhachi flute with a hybrid construction that incorporates an inlaid wood nest for a full sound of a wooden flute, with the vibrance of bamboo. This flute is 23-1/2" in length and weighs 18 oz. The flute comes provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for storage and protection.
