African Tambouti Key of F#m Native American Style Flute, Tree of Life Designs

Native style, six hole flute in the key of F# minor. Hand crafted from a gorgeous piece of exotic African tambouti wood (also spelled tambootie), also known as African Sandalwood.

This sleek and sexy looking flute is line bored from a solid blank of African tambouti, which is a dark and rich deep brown. This flute features rings of brass at the mouth and foot ends for extra shine and WOW factor. The low and minimalist styled bird block is crafted from ebony wood and sits atop an ebony nest. The block is secured with laces of black deer hide leather. The flute also features my signature hand burned "morning star" with inlaid mother-of-pearl cabochon below the sound hole. Topped with multiple, hand rubbed coats of 100% natural oil and wax finish for a gentle, warm glow.

This is a really special looking flute with a very warm, unique, resonant voice, and projects well with great stage presence, and plays almost effortlessly with excellent backpressure. The overall length is 20" with a 7/8" bore and weighs 11 oz. It has an easy and comfortable reach for all players. The flute comes provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for storage and protection. All flutes are shipped FREE Priority Mail with signature required and insurance.
